Learn & Certify

I first started photography for instagram, as I’m already an innate creative and artist the hobby grew deeper than likes and followed to following ratio, as my style and subjects developed over the years I kept being told that I have “the eye.” I’ve primarily been photographing for love but I’ve also been lucky enough to be hired freelance. Not to toot my own horn but I love what I make, we all have a unique way of seeing the world and I’d like to share more of my point of view, more of the over-looked beauty hidden in my city. I’m lucky enough to be able to know what I don’t know, so I decided to up-skill my technical knowledge - It’s time I became certified!.

CBD flowers and oils with less than 0.2% THC, so don’t freak it’s 100% legal as far as UK law is concerned. I’ve tried their CBD oil and find that I’m able to focus for longer periods of time and it gives me a lasting energy boost throughout the day - if you’re looking to give it a go, I’d advise you to look up the health benefits online - my go to is YouTube reviews. check them out on www.thegoodbudz.com

Kiefer - Socially Awkward

How to live a meaningful life - Dalai Lama

It’s like fire, at first it burns you and turns your world into cinders and toxic smoke blurring your senses. Sure, you can stay away from it and keep it at bay but at what cost? To who’s detriment? There’s much wisdom to be gained if you endure, you learn and you adapt - if you study it, you can master it - you can learn to wield the flames, make that demon your bitch. You’ll soon find yourself forging a new path that others can take.

Piano Concerto No. 21 in C Major, K. 467 “Elvira Madigan”: II. Andante - Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

I’ve quickly come to realise that there’s no such thing as failure. Up until the dissolution of CLOKC (e-commerce sneaker business I started in 2016) in September of 2017. I learned a plethora of lessons along the way; things I wouldn’t have known had I not gone through with the business concept/project. I learned about the intricacy involved in starting a business, business planning, business management, finance and book keeping. As well as perfecting my creative skills - I learned how to finesse my product and street photography and branded a company that I was truly interested in. I loved working on CLOKC it barely felt like work, even the excel spreadsheets!

My biggest take away is that you don’t need the most expensive tools or a huge team of people or even a lot of money to start a business. CLOKC was made up of a team of two young creatives with a tenacious passion for sneakers/trainers, art direction and design acumen as well as a vision to create something that people in the sneaker world wanted and dare I say, needed. We had fun creating a brand using two laptops (Adobe CC & Microsoft Office included) and semi-pro canon 6D coupled with the cheapest lens money could buy; Canon 50mm 1.8. The project scope included Visual Identity Design, Branding, User Interface Design, Photography, Content Creation and Social Media management.

It’s unfortunate that it didn’t work out but not all is lost, onwards and upwards! That’s another one for the ol’ ‘folio!

Take a look at the selection of sneaker shots taken during the project and let me know what you think!
